E.J. Cottrell Memorial Library's Mission

E.J. Cottrell Memorial Library serves the area of the Wayland-Cohocton School District, but also serves many customers who live outside service areas.

The library will continue to provide current, popular materials to serve the recreation and information needs of readers of all ages. The library is an active member of the Southern Tier Library System which, through interloan, provides the community with books not owned by the library.

Bestsellers, popular paperbacks, and picture books will be available as soon as published.

The library serves as a place where people of all ages can find enjoyment and help with the problems and projects of everyday living.
